Eye on Juventus star

Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, wants to sign a new goalkeeper for the team to be an additional option alongside Ederson.

This comes within the framework of Guardiola's efforts to reach the strongest possible lineup for the team in order to compensate for the negative results during the recent period.

According to a report published by the British newspaper Daily Mail, the City management considers Juventus goalkeeper Michel Di Gregorio as the main option to strengthen the goalkeeper position.

The report indicated that Guardiola is currently evaluating the options available to him to enhance the team's capabilities during the winter Mercato.

City's choice of Di Gregorio came after his remarkable brilliance with Juventus, especially in the two teams' meeting together in the Champions League.

Di Gregorio won the award for the best goalkeeper in the Italian League last season after his very good levels.

Di Gregorio is 27 years old and has a contract with Juventus until June 2029. Di Gregorio has played 18 matches for Juventus in all competitions, conceding 13 goals and keeping 10 clean sheets.
